It is still shocking to me that people buy pieces of my hobby…my art. Thank you for spending time with me, keeping a watchful eye on my page and hoping to find more little treasures. Know that I am currently prepping another batch that I am hoping to release in the Spring, but like all wonderful and delicate things do, these take time. Ellie & Fig started in 2015 at my kitchen table in my tiny apartment in Olympia, Washington, when my oldest child was only a two month old babe. I had a small cutting of fabric from the craft store and a Brother sewing machine that I got on clearance at Walmart, and with that, I decided to start a hair bow shop. I ran that shop successfully until 2019, when I decided to learn embroidery and got the idea to combine my two joys: hair bow making and embroidery art. Over the years, I expanded my horizons and practiced adding embroidery to so many different pieces, which now allows me to create all kinds of embroidered art - this way there's a little something for everyone. I'm happy to have you here and hope you find something special, just for you.
